Donkey Bombs

dear Friends,

attached you will find the text of my note to The Brooke
(http://www.thebrooke.org./ "healthy working animals
for the world's poorest communities".
my e-mail is of course not against The Brooke (quite the
opposite, in fact), i just wanted to ... i don't know what i
wanted to do. but The Brooke has more means of doing
something about it than i do.

Stallion bites another stallion in the throat

Maryann, you are such a wealth of information! It was a joy to talk to you tonight.

I have just posted the image of the stallion grabbing another stallion by the throat. There was some scuffling between the four young stallions just prior to this, but we didn't see any major provocation. I have just added some more images depicting some horse behaviors. We watched horses take turns scratching under a large juniper tree. Some of them didn't want to scratch, they just wanted under the tree with the others. The weather was neither too cold or too hot, they just all wanted under.

We watched a lot of nuzzling between youngsters, moms grooming their foals and some herding by stallions. This is pretty commonly seen when the stallion suddenly decides he's had enough of us, or when his… Continue

In Loving Memory

My beautiful white horse, Sky, is now free from physical limitations and forever in The Light. I love you with all my heart my angel and I thank you for sharing your life with me. Please continue to guide me on how to best help and heal other horses and animals- give me strength and patience when dealing with insensitive humans and know that even though I am extremely sad right now, when I think of you happy and free I receive such strength and peace. May you fly with the angels, reunite with yo… Continue

I see we have lots of new members from Europe and I think the European gals are better networked than the US judging by the conversations I have seen. Good job gals. Lets get the North American gals chatting this spring on subjects.
